Project Dulaaar – Empowering Vulnerable Children (Boys & Girls)

Project Dulaaar is a holistic intervention designed to empower vulnerable children, especially girls and boys aged 10-18, who are orphaned, abandoned, survivors of abuse, or at risk of child labor and delinquency. We provide safe accommodation, nutritious meals, education, health care, counseling, skill-building, and emotional support to enable them to rebuild their lives and pursue mainstream education and career opportunities.

The Problem
  • In India, millions of children drop out of school due to poverty, domestic responsibilities, unsafe school environments, early marriage, and abuse.

  • 1 in 3 child laborers is a girl, with boys also highly vulnerable to exploitation.

  • Domestic violence and ill-treatment cause emotional trauma leading to school dropouts.

  • Children lack access to proper mentorship, financial support, health care, and psychological counseling, forcing them into labor or unsafe environments.

Our Approach
  • Safe hostel accommodation with nutritious meals.

  • Full support for school/college fees and preparation for competitive exams (NEET, UPSC, PSC, AI courses).

  • Health insurance and regular medical checkups.

  • Comprehensive counseling and mental health support.

  • Career guidance, skill training, and mentorship.

  • Recreational activities and provision of clothing and daily essentials.

Impact So Far
  • Currently supporting 1 child fully enrolled in the program.

  • Mentoring 5 children with tuition, counseling, educational kits (Abhyas Ka Pitara), and nutrition kits (Sneh Ka Baksa).

  • Positive stories of transformation, including skill acquisition and academic progress.
